No one should ever have to deal with violence at home.
Home should be your safe place not a place of fear.
No one actually knows what goes on behind close doors, until…….
You speak out!
I kept silent for so long, through fear.
I went through it all for 18 years and finally found the courage to get out in 2017.

I’m competing in @hyroxuk in London this November, something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now and I can’t wait.
I’ve decided to not only do it for myself, for the strength within but also to help raise awareness of domestic violence and to help others find the strength themselves to get out.
I will be raising much needed funds for @mums_in_need a domestic violence charity based in Sheffield, which was one of my first point of calls when I managed to escape.
They do an amazing job, but as you can imagine need funds to keep doing the amazing work they do.
The charity was founded by Laura who went through domestic violence herself leading her to help others in the same situation.
Please go check them out.
@hyroxuk here I come
Let’s goooooo
